Tiffany is a Gabriel Method success story who emphasizes that sustainable weight loss is not about restrictive dieting. She believes that we solve the problem of excess weight by examining the stories and beliefs we carry about food, weight and body image. We can then free ourselves by becoming the author of our own lives.
Through using The Gabriel Method Tiffany has not only lost weight, but has transformed herself to be a source of inspiration and guidance to others. Professionally educated, and with real life experience, Tiffany is able to connect and be authentic with our Gabriel Method community to co-create positive change.
Tiffany is a Mentor Coach in our Ultimate Coaching Experience and a Mentor Coach in our Total Transformation Coaching Experience.
Tiffany lives in New Zealand with her 5 children.
Tiffany Nightingale understands first hand how it feels to be morbidly obese. Tipping the scales at over 286lbs in her late 20’s, she felt like her light was almost out. Determined that this would not be the end of her story, she embarked on a journey of transformation. Dieting conventionally, she lost 136 lbs but found that keeping the weight off was like holding back the tide. It was only after she had regained more than two thirds of the weight, that she happened upon Jon Gabriel’s book, and realized the deeper work that was required to truly set herself free. By incorporating Jon’s ideas into her own process, Tiffany lost the 88lbs she had regained, and has maintained her total loss for 6 years now..
Tiffany is the mother of 5 children and lives with them beside a sacred mountain in New Zealand. She is a spirit painter, works as a counselor, and has completed her Masters in Counseling at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. Her specialty area is Narrative Therapy. These studies have offered her insight into the way we story ourselves into being, and the power we have to truly em-body our beliefs. This has helped to transform her own life, and the lives of those she works with.
Tiffany carried many beliefs about her genetic destiny being set in stone, what the image of a ‘good mother’ looked like, what she had to set aside in order to serve her family, how she had to eat away her hopes and dreams. However, she came to notice on her journey of ‘becoming,’ that the amount of excess weight she carried decreased in direct proportion to her commitment to living a FULL BODIED LIFE. “Spiritually, physically, emotionally, creatively I attend to my needs and desires now, so that I needn’t seek to fill up the empty spaces with food. No longer on the side-lines, I stand front and centre in my own beautiful life.”
Tiffany is privileged to be able to share her story, which you can watch here and looks forward to offering you hope and insight as you embark upon this great path of your own ‘becoming.’

“The first time I watched your video , I thought to myself you are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, inside and out… But it wasn't just like a man looking at a woman… It was also as someone who had abdicated his life, his hopes and his dreams and who had resigned himself to the inevitability of probable death, acknowledging that there is Beauty in this world and some people have the privilege of getting it right in this lifetime… Little did I know that you would personally breathe life into my soul and give me the strength and the hope to even entertain the possibility and the emotional risk to cry out for healing… I know you know that you saved my life and at the very least were sent by God for his healing purposes…. Now when I watch your video , it's through a completely different lens, filled with life, joy, gratitude , hope and even disbelief.. I'll Always appreciate You and be grateful to you beyond words Thank you thank you thank you”

“To Whom it may concern, My name is L. Stradley and I live in Tucson Arizona. For the last 4 months I have been working with Tiffany Nightingale as my coach. I feel so fortunate to have met Tiffany and would like to share some of my impressions of her and my coaching. A couple of times in my life I have met people that I would consider to be “old souls”. Tiffany is one of these people. She is wise beyond her years and has a keen sense of the world around her. This attribute is invaluable for someone who is a counselor/mentor/coach and a gift for those she is mentoring. She has an innate skill of “putting it all together.” I have received great coaching from Tiffany using Narrative Therapy. We have worked through some tough issues and she has really helped me to think and feel differently. With her training and skills she has helped me to reframe the stories and beliefs I have carried around that have not served me well. I have not felt this optimistic for a long time and I know it is a result of working with Tiffany. I look forward to more sessions with her. Finally, Tiffany is very passionate about her work and helping her clients. She comes to each session very prepared. I know she has thought about our session in advance and how best to make use of the time we have. As I said in the beginning I feel very fortunate to have met Tiffany. She has so much to offer and I know she will be a great help to many people as she has been for me.”
Sincerely, L. Stradley
I would like to provide some feedback on my experience with Tiffany Nightingale as a coach.
Tiffany is a fantastic coach and resource – you are lucky to have her and so am I! Tiffany guided me through a very transformational process and to a level of self-acceptance I have never before known in my life. My greatest FAT trigger is restrictive dieting and I've oscillated between over-indulging and over-restricting for over a decade. I was so tired of this cycle that I decided to try something different. I found the Gabriel Method and knew the coaching program would help me apply the concepts more effectively. I honestly do not think I could have been paired with a better coach than Tiffany.
Tiffany always met me exactly where I was at. She reflected my experiences back to me with such compassion that I felt very understood and validated. It has been hard for me to resist going back to restrictive dieting and navigating a new mindset around abundance. Tiffany cleared the path for me. She would tell me stories that resonated or share a quote or concept that inspired me to keep going. I always left our calls feeling energized and renewed in the process. There were times when I felt discouraged, and without Tiffany probably would have abandoned this effort, but Tiffany always helped me come to a place of acceptance and appreciation for myself. She is a paragon of self love, and was a great role model for me.
It has taken several months for me to start to unwind the ingrained thought patterns I had about my self-worth, food and weight. I am thrilled to say that I am at a point where I have a higher level of self-acceptance than I have ever experienced. I have accepted where I am RIGHT NOW, so much so that now I am ready to lovingly take even more steps to help my outer body match my inner love. I have been slowly adding more and more of the Big 3 into my diet and exercising because I actually want to, not as a punishment. I am confident that my body will continue to transform, but it won't be like how I've lost weight in the past. This time, I am working from a place of love and peace. I could not have gotten here without Tiffany, and I am so grateful to her!!”
Best, S. Patterson
