Jon:  

I’ve got Christine here from Vermont.

Kelly:  

Hi Christine.

Christine:  

Hi.

Jon:  

Hi Christine. You're calling from Vermont?

Christine:  

Yes, I am and I’m so happy to meet you, and I just feel like this is one of the goals that I set for myself or kind of ran across my mind a couple of weeks ago and it’s wonderful. You’re an inspiration. I thank you very much.

Jon:  

Well, thank you so much. Thank you so much. So what’s Vermont like these days? How’s the weather in Vermont?

Kelly:  

Well, it’s beautiful in the autumn, that’s for sure.

Jon:  

You’re having the fall foliage?

Christine:  

Yeah, it’s started now. It’s not quite in the middle but it’s definitely started a couple of weeks.

Jon:  

I used to go to school in New Hampshire. I was in high school in New Hampshire and I remember every year at this time the autumn leaves would come in and people would travel from all over to see the fall foliage. It was just gorgeous.

Christine:  

Well, yes, and I’ve been living in Vermont for five years but I’m originally from Newfoundland in Canada so I’m a long way from home.

Jon:  

What part of Vermont are you in?

Christine:  

Down in the southeast corner in Brattleboro.

Jon:  

Okay. I know where that is, yeah.

Christine:  

Yeah, first Massachusetts then New Hampshire.

Jon:  

Yeah. I know exactly where you are. How can I help you?

Christine:  

Well, I stumbled upon your method actually on September 11th and I just think my life has been progressing and so it’s no coincidence that I found it. And right away I started making the changes and adding the flax seed and the flax seed oil and the proteins and the live foods and the Omega-3s in my meals as best I could. Not perfect, but definitely progress. And I just noticed right from pretty much the start that I was feeling almost a nausea or just a discomfort in my mid epigastric area and kind of out through my back, and I’ve had pain like that in the past. I also know that I have gallstones so I’m kind of — this morning I got up and I did flax seed and water and I can’t get wheatgrass up here so I did wheatgrass tablets first thing this morning and about 10 minutes after I took it I —

Jon:  

Tell me where the pain is? I’m sorry. Is that what you were going to say is that, Christine, 10 minutes after you took it you started feeling pain?

Christine:  

Yeah.

Jon:  

Yeah, where did you feel the pain?

Christine:  

Just like a gallbladder pain. Like right in the very top of your stomach just under your chest bone and right dead center there. Kind of where your — what’s it called? It’s not coming to me.

Kelly:  

Your diaphragm?

Christine:  

Yeah, your solar plexus is. Right where that is.

Jon:  

Your solar plexus. Okay, did you feel it to the right at all? To the right at all of your stomach?

Christine:  

Yes, yes, yes.

Jon:  

Okay. To the right of your solar plexus is your liver and your liver — and what I’m getting is that you’re going through detoxification. Especially the wheatgrass tablets are causing a detoxification. I want to preface this by saying please have a checkup with your doctor to make sure everything is okay with your gallbladder and with everything else, but what I’m hearing is that you’re detoxifying.

The chlorophyll in the wheatgrass tablets — I would really urge you to try to maybe grow wheatgrass on your own, also, because there’s so much more to the benefit of wheatgrass other than the tablets, but if you’re taking wheatgrass tablets, what’s in that is chlorophyll and chlorophyll is a really powerful detoxifier and you’re probably going to feel that in your liver because your liver carries so many toxins. So I would check with your doctor, but it’s probably a good thing and I’m not a doctor so don’t listen to me from a medical standpoint, but from my experience with working with people with detoxification, what I’m hearing is that your liver is detoxifying and that’s a really, really important thing.

Christine:  

Right, because I know I do have gallstones because I’ve had my gallbladder, an ultrasound, and they wanted me to have surgery right away but I wasn’t having any symptoms. But since I started I realize I am certainly detox — my body is definitely detoxing, but dealing with that pain is difficult and it’s a little frightening for me because I don’t want to have a full blown gallbladder attack or anything.

Jon:  

Well, that you have to — have you checked with your doctor? Have you had a checkup?

Christine:  

I haven’t because it’s just gotten worse the past couple of days.

Jon:  

Okay. Well, please do, but if he says everything is all right then what I’m thinking is that you’re detoxifying and that’s a really good thing.

Christine:  

Okay.

Jon:  

So I remember the first time I had a shot of wheatgrass when I was living in New York. My lower back around my kidneys just seized up and it was just because there were so many toxins in my system and they were releasing those toxins and it was just very painful. So that’s what I’m thinking is happening right now, but do get a checkup with your doctor just to make sure everything is functioning right, okay?
