And then I’ve done a lot of research on the mind/body connection, and the problem with the mind/body connection is that there’s not too much you can prove because we can’t measure thoughts. We don’t even know where thoughts come from. We cannot even prove that thoughts originate in our head. The most cutting edge research says that our brains are transistors for thoughts, that we pick them up from somewhere else. So we don’t know where thoughts are. So if you don’t know where thoughts are and you can’t measure them, there’s not too much testing you can do. But the way I see it is, I took the approach that I’m going to try everything and if it works great, and if it’s wrong okay I’m wrong, big deal; how is it going to hurt me? So when I tell people to visualize for example, if there’s even one percent chance that I’m right, I have given you a tool that you can use to transform your body and your life. And if I’m wrong, I’ve taught you a relaxation technique; that’s the downside. So you have nothing to lose by trying.
