Oh, great, okay.

Jon:  

How are you?

Julie:  

I’m good, thank you. So first a huge thank you for sharing everything you’ve learned and for writing the book and it makes perfect sense, yeah. It’s great.

Jon:  

My pleasure. I love your accent. Where are you from?

Julie:  

I’m from Bulgaria actually.

Jon:  

From Bulgaria. It’s a beautiful accent.

Julie:  

All the way, and you’re translating the book in Bulgarian so, yay.

Jon:  

Oh, that’s right, I am, yeah. Somebody told me it was out in Bulgaria but I haven’t seen it. Anyway, how can I help you?

Julie:  

Anyway, I discovered it a couple of months ago, and I’ve been listening to the CD every night and it has helped me a lot in terms of getting good rest and reducing my chronic stress. And my question is more of the visualization part of the exercise and getting and maintaining the SMART Mode. So I’m more susceptible to the auditory component of listening to your voice and all the suggestions, but when it comes to the visualization, it’s a bit more difficult for me.

Jon:  

Okay. So what you’re saying is –

Julie:  

Yeah, go on.

Jon:  

Let me just make sure I understand your question. You’re saying that when you listen to my visualization CD that it’s all easy and flow, but if you try to do visualization on your own, it’s a little bit more difficult?

Julie:  

Yes.

Jon:  

That’s fine. That’s a very common question and I’m glad you asked it. Continue to listen to the visualization CD. I’m also going to make a morning visualization CD so that you can — it will be like a ten-minute morning visualization CD so that you can listen in the morning.

But visualization is like a muscle. It gets stronger over time. So in the beginning you’re not going to be able — most people don’t have the experience with visualization. They’re not going to be able to do it as well, but if you practice it every day, you just get stronger and stronger, it gets easier and easier, and your mind becomes more powerful. So you can make a vision really quickly and you can get into that what I call that SMART Mode really quickly, and boom you can create that vision of exactly the way you like.

And for those of you that don’t know, visualizations are, I think, an incredibly effective way to help get your mind and body to work together. It worked really well with me. When I was losing weight, I had a specific imagine of how I wanted to look and I visualized it every night, even though it may have been crazy when I was over 400 pounds, but I pretty much exactly became that image.

And then I’ve used visualization for so many different things in my life. Like I used it for — when I first saw The Secret I thought to myself, I’d really like the people that published The Secret to publish my book, and I didn’t even know who they were, but I just imagined that they published the book and it went all over the world. And then a week later I got a call from a literary agent in Thailand that said, "I love your book, I’d like to represent you. The last book that I sold was called Return of the Prophet, I sold it to Beyond Words, you may be familiar with Beyond Words, they published The Secret. And I said I didn’t’ even know who Beyond Words was, but they were the publisher of The Secret. The next thing I know, they’re publishing my book and I wasn’t doing anything other than the visualization.

So the one thing I say is as you get better and better with visualization, you can apply it to every aspect of your life. And I talk about, in the book, using visualization, applying it to abundance, to love, to really creating anything you want. So it’s like a tool that you can use, and as your mind gets more and more powerful, it becomes more and more effective.

Julie:  

Okay. So practice.

Jon:  

Yeah. Just try it for 30 seconds in the morning. That’s what I say. As long as you create the habit, just 30 seconds, don’t worry about how effective it is, 30 seconds will turn into three minutes which will turn into five minutes. Eventually you’ll have something very powerful that you can use for any aspect of your life. Okay Julie?

Julie:  

Okay and one more question? In the book you mention about the music that can get you into SMART Mode more easily. Any personal favorites of yours that you can recommend?

Jon:  

Well, if you check my website in about a week, I have new music that I’ve formulated that’s very affordable. I think it’s like $19 or something like that, and it’s basically the same music that’s on the CD with different type of tracks. There’s a five-minute track, there’s a ten-minute track, there’s a morning track, there’s an evening track, and that will get you in and out of the SMART Mode. Never listen to it while driving.

Julie:
